Rebecca Lee, LCSW, NBCCH, is a traditionally trained Licensed
Clinical Social Worker. She offers psychotherapy, hypnosis, EMDR and a holistic approach to healing through Odyssey Counseling.
If
life is a journey, then we all need help along the way -- counseling, support or even just conversation -- as we navigate
the difficult waters and dangerous reefs. Rebecca Lee has experience in many areas -- trauma, addictions, relationship issues,
parenting, anxiety, depression, spiritual crises -- developed in her more than twenty years as a social worker. Additionally,
she has training in powerful treatment techniques -- hypnotherapy and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing -- that
along with a holistic approach combine to produce rapid and effective changes in people's lives.
Rebecca is on many
insurance panels and also offers a sliding scale fee based on income. She treats adults, teens and children. She is a member
of the National Association of Social Workers, the International Society for the Study of Dissociation, and the Nashville
Psychotherapy Institute. She has been a Licensed Clinical Social Worker since 1994, and received her MSSW from the University
of Tennessee, Knoxville, in1992. Rebecca has worked for the Department of Human Services (1983-1990), Child and Family Services
of Knoxville, Great Starts addiction treatment program (1992-1995) Dede Wallace Center addiction treatment program (1995-1999)
and the Rape and Sexual Abuse Center (1999- present). She trained in hypnotherapy in 1997 and is a member of the National
Board of Certified Clinical Hypnotherapists. She completed Level 2 training in EMDR in 2003. She is also a Reiki Therapist.
